More visibly, and more seriously, more and more speakers have confirmed their participation. As you can see, we have an exciting program of keynote speakers, and they fall under two categories: “overview” speakers and “junior keynote” speakers. In keeping with the workshop format of the conference, the overview speakers are seasoned geologists, who will give an overview of a given (sub)field, trying to cover as much ground and ideas as they can. “Junior keynote” speakers, in contrast, in addition to being more junior as the name implies, will give a more opinionated talk, presenting some recent developments, concepts, ideas or models.

And you ? Well, we need to tie a few loose ends before opening the registration, but we expect to do it around Christmas. Watch this space ! We should have some 10-12 talks and 20-25 posters per theme. Don’t be disappointed if you get a poster: we are working hard to put them front and center, in the room where most of the action will happen including coffee and evening beer, and you will get plenty of exposure…
